Ballard Power (NASDAQ:BLDP) was long thought of as the fuel cell stock play, and this has been a watch stock on our alternative energy sector tag on the 24/7 Wall St. site. In fact, I have been covering that stock on and off since 1996 or 1997 when this was just a future technology. But now Ballard has sold off its automotive fuel cell business to Ford and to Daimler AG (NYSE:DAI) in return for its stakes held by both companies.

Tiny Smart car will soon arrive in the US

Europeans have been driving Smart cars for a decade, but the Smart is just now hitting U.S. roadways. Smart USA President Dave Schembri, who worked on a team that considered a Smart sport utility vehicle for the U.S. market in the late 1990s, said the country just wasn t ready for Smart at the time. But fuel prices and increasing concern about the environment have changed that, he said.

Expiration dates on car seats

Not doing so could land you in a load of legal troubles. Now there’s another aspect of car seats you need to pay attention to — their expiration date. That’s right, manufacturers are now putting expiration dates on car seats to let you know that you need to throw them away if they’re more than 6 years old.

The Bachelor – Three Blondes and a Hot Seat

Time for the Hot Seat, and Chris chooses Hillary to be up first. Her over-the-top personality, hilarious asides, (such as, “Bettina’s like a used car. You gotta kick the tires to make sure it still runs.”), infectious smile, and, of course, dramatic exit make her the obvious first choice. Chris runs the video of the night Brad dumped her and she tears up even while watching. “When I fall, I fall hard,” she says afterwards.

Car Seat Expiration Dates

This story was long and boring. My wife changed the channel. It was nice for me as I would rather have watched a rerun of the VT game anyway. Why spend so much time on a worthless story. Why harass all those thrift stores. My kids are teenagers now. They might have sat in old car seats. They didn’t die. I am 42 years old. I never sat in a car seat. I didn’t die. We’ve never commented on a story before. We’re not rednecks. We just think this story wasn’t worth our time.

BMW chalks out product expansion plans

BMW India is also planning to expand its dealership network and include four more cities including Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Kolkata. These new dealerships will be in operation by next year, and will be in addition to the eight cities where BMW is already present. The company is also considering setting up smaller authorised service outlets in Tier II cities, Kronschnabl said.
