Sioux City Toyota franchise in new hands

“Packard was really the American version of the Rolls Royce,” Signom said. “The line was built on quality, which coined their sales term, ‘Ask the man who owns one,’ ” he added. “John Patterson of NCR was also a key player in this dealership being so successful. When the 1913 flood hit, Patterson contacted Packard, needing trucks to haul away the dead animals. Three days later, train cars arrived with eight Packard trucks and barrels of fuel and oil.

Of the nearly $4 million owed, more than half went to the bank, Glauber argued. That money is no longer in the business, he said. The balance of the money, $1.9 million, is no longer in the business either. It was given to Ford Motor Credit.

Ferrari targets used car sales

The brand s 15-strong UK network has been piloting the Ferrari Approved programme since last May and will begin to actively promote it from this week on its website. Massimo Fedeli, Ferrari s UK managing director, speaking exclusively to Motor Trader, said a key aim of the initiative is to reduce the flow of used Ferraris into the independent and private sectors and increase the brand s penetration.

Ferrari Approved used cars

Ferrari UK has launched its own ‘approved used’ car service, called Ferrari Approved, that has been set up to allow certification of appropriately high quality second-hand Prancing Horses. Covering the all versions of the 360, 430, 465M, 612, 550, 575 and 599 models, with the oldest being made in 1998, Ferrari Approved is a comprehensive scheme to say the very least.

City, Ford launch vehicle down-payment assistance program

Panattoni to buy shuttered Ford plant [St. Louis] San Antonio city leaders are working to make it easier for more working individuals and families to buy a new or used car, thanks to a partnership between the city and Ford Motor Co. Through it, working families who save up $1,000 will receive $2,000 in matched funds from the city s Department of Community Initiatives and Dearborn, Mich.-based Ford (NYSE: F).
