BMW predicts robust 2008 car market

According to research by BMW Financial Services, women anticipate that the credit crunch will have the biggest bearing on them 42 per cent expect a knock-on effect on their car purchase compared to just 31 per cent of men. Bob Jordan, sales and marketing director with BMW Financial Services said: Our research shows there will be a strong appetite for car buying next year.

Even for the most cautious of spenders who are worried about the credit crunch, there are ways to buy the car you want in 2008 without having to compromise. The study also found that used cars may prove to be a more popular acquisition than newer models and sales of car finance with more affordable repayment options will increase.
