Summary: Newly-privatised Chrysler is building on recently-announced new executive appointments and future product plans with the announcement it will expand its US market certified pre-owned vehicle (CPOV) programme eligibility to all qualifying dealers there. Previously, its was limited only to so called ‘Five Star’ dealers.

Chrysler Sets Used Car Sales Record

One of the hardest hit American automakers with the surge of Japanese automakers is Chrysler. But the automaker acquired Jim Press from Toyota and is now in the middle of its turnaround plan. The automaker is looking to be back to profitability by next year. And the automaker is moving in the right direction as it recorded its highest sale of used cars last month.

Chrysler 300C surprises UK residual value experts

Almost two years to the day from the original launch of the Chrysler 300C saloon in the UK, residual value experts have confirmed that the 300C has been a massive residual value success story. Martin Ward, Manufacturer Relationship Manager for CAP, said: “A two year old diesel Chrysler 300C with 30,000 Miles on the clock is today worth an impressive 67 per cent of the Ј25,750 it cost when new.
