Elder Automotive Group purchases Jaguar of Novi

The store was purchased from Nate Conyers, who was also one of Michigan’s Metro Detroit Ford dealers prior to owning Jaguar of Novi. When the agreement was finalized, it brought Elder’s Jaguar dealership holdings to three in Michigan and one in Florida. With the purchase of Jaguar of Novi, the Elder Automotive Group has 11 dealerships collectively representing Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Lincoln Mercury, Jeep and Saab.

Jaguar of Novi Purchased by Elder Automotive Group, Announcement Made by CEO, Irma Elder

Elder believes strongly in giving back to the community, and her affiliations and charitable support reflect that. Currently, she serves on the Board of Trustees for the College for Creative Studies, Oakland Family Services, Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Economic Club of Detroit Board of Directors. Most notably, President George W. Bush appointed her to the Commission on White House Fellowships.

Troy-based Elder Automotive buys Jaguar of Novi

Elder Automotive Group said Friday it has purchased Jaguar of Novi, bringing to 11 the company’s portfolio of auto dealerships. Troy-based Elder Automotive purchased the Jaguar dealership from Nathan Conyers, the former owner of Riverside Ford in Detroit who opened the Novi dealership in 2002. Terms of the deal were not released. A message and an e-mail from Business Review on Friday seeking comment from an Elder spokswoman were not answered.

Ford s US business prompted Jaguar and land Rover sale

Although this was a dramatic improvement on the $5.2bn loss in the same period last year, its domestic performance last month was flat and it has announced a 7 per cent year-on-year cut in US production for the first quarter of 2008. Apart from exiting the prestige sector, Ovenden said Ford s clear desire to focus on the blue oval meant that it had no need for a sub-brand either - the equivalent of Vauxhall s budget Chevrolet business.
