Fiat Automobiles at the 32nd Bologna Motor Show

26/11/2007 — The critical acclaim surrounding the Fiat 500 shows no sign of fading: so far, the international awards garnered by the new model have included the Car of the Year 2008, EuroCarBody 2007, European Car 2008 and Auto piГ№ Bella del Mondo 2008 titles. To celebrate the 500’s triumphs, Fiat will be dedicating an entire stand to it at the 2007 Bologna Motor Show.

Designed jointly by the Fiat Styling Center and the global design group GTP-Gruppo Thema Progetti, the display area blends the elegantly essential with smooth flowing lines that carry the spectator into a fantastic world of emotions and the imagination.

Crowned by an enormous reproduction of the Fiat 500 that serves as the hub of a spectacular carousel, the stand also features a greensward of artificial grass: two picnic areas where fourteen Fiat 500s in a kaleidoscope of colors are surrounded by tablecloths and wicker hampers. It’s a striking scene, and one that’s enormously effective in conveying all of the style, the fantasy and the glamour that the words “Made in Italy” call instantly to mind.

Spinning in and out and round about the stand’s giant five-times-life-size Fiat 500, five different models of the new car two Sport versions equipped with the 100 horsepower 1.4-liter 16-valve engine, two Lounge outfits with the 1.3-liter Multijet and 1.4-liter 16-valve powerplants, and a Fiat 500 Pop with the 1.3-liter Multijet revolve on five different orbits, each enlivened by light effects, projected images and its own sound track.
